Hugh Walker Showcases Eternal Lines #2 at RAW 2.0 Exhibition
Photographer and visual artist Hugh Walker was proud to participate in RAW 2.0, a dynamic exhibition held at The Caribbean Brushstrokes Gallery in Pelican Village, Barbados. The exhibition brought together more than 40 male artists, celebrating the diversity, creativity, and talent of the Caribbean visual arts community across a wide range of artistic genres.
Representing contemporary fine art photography, Hugh exhibited a single piece titled Eternal Lines #2, a striking 24 x 40-inch photograph printed on canvas. The monochrome work explores the beauty of natural textures and flowing organic forms, inviting viewers to reflect on the timeless patterns found in the natural world. Through its dramatic contrast and abstract composition, Eternal Lines #2 demonstrates how photography can transform everyday landscapes into compelling works of fine art.
One of the highlights of the exhibition was the successful sale of the artwork to a local art collector, a rewarding outcome that underscores the growing appreciation for fine art photography within Barbados’ vibrant cultural landscape.
Participating in RAW 2.0 provided an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts while contributing to an exhibition that celebrated the depth and diversity of male artistic expression.
